Every year, in addition to the cash prize, the winner of the Dolphin Pool will receive free one-on-one services from multiple partnering organizations. This year, those winnings will be decided by you, our community and support system!

WWBIC will be offering a scholarship to the Start, Run, Grow program. In 8 sessions you will hone the skills needed to understand the feasibility of your business idea, listen from experts and develop a complete business plan.

A former serial entrepreneur herself, Thalia has been working in the entrepreneurial eco-system of southeastern Wisconsin for over 20 years.  She currently serves as the Regional Project Director for the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC) in the Milwaukee market.

Mentorship - TGG

The Blueprint

Blueprint is a collaborative business accelerator program for entrerpeneurs. Through our partnership, we will be connecting the Blueprint program's 

entrepreneur alumni with our Teens Grow Greens winners. The teens will receive a one-on-one meeting and have the opportunity to attend and observe a Blueprint cohort class.

Khalif El-Amin, along with his brother Que, launched the Young Enterprising Society, or YES, in 2012 to help stimulate Milwaukee’s central city economy.

The Young Enterprising Society's mission is to be an international epicenter for financially, politically and socially progressive individuals and businesses.

THE VIBE

The VIBE, an entrepreneur co-working space, will be offering a 1 year, free membership to the Community Choice winner. As part of this opportunity, the Business Manager, Temo, will work one-on-one with the winner, to discuss business planning information, tools and resources.

Business Manager

Temo is THE VIBE Business Manager and has an extensive understanding of economic development. He has been involved in a broad range of areas related to incoming and workforce development. He works will entrepreneurs, both small startup and existing businesses and specialists in business planning, writing business plans, market research and promotions.

Entrepreneurship Consultation

MATC - Entrepreneurship Center

Milwaukee Area Technical College, offers an entrepreneurship program, different from a business degree, the program teaches students how to be resourceful on a limited budget and how to expand their strenghts. MATC will be  offering 20 hours of one-on-one entrepreneurship 

consultations with Prof. Hadjinian.

Armen Hadjinian

Adjunct Professor, MATC

Hadjinian is coordinator and instructor for MATC's entrepreneurship program and the advisor for the center, both of which launched in 2012. Besides being a full-time professors, Hadjirian is also a published author and entrepreneur, having started 4 businesses which include entrepreneurship consultation.

Legal Audit

Marquette University

The Marquette Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic, operates as an independent law office staffed by Prof. Hammons and law students. This year, Marquette University will be offering a one-on-one legal audit and discussion of the winner's business.

Nathan Hammons

Professor of Law

Nathan Hammons is a Clinical Associate Professor and Director of the Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic. The Clinic is an in-house clinical program that provides pro-bono legal services to startup businesses and entrepreneurs. Prof, Hammons was a principal attorney and has represented entrepreneurs and small businesses.
